A simplistic stunning styled shoot in the prettiest derelict greenhouse
So a few weeks ago, I was scrolling through my news feed, when my eyes spotted the most beautiful image of a couple in the cutest of green houses. The images presented deep, rich colours that drew me in and had the most beautiful detail of greenery and romantic relaxed shots.
You see, I often have many weddings and styled shoots on my feed but this was something different, something really unique and something so wonderful that I just HAD to investigate.
The images were not only my kind of style, quality and colours, but the simplicity of the shots along with the quirky items used and the unusual setting, I instantly fell in love.
It made me wedding broody!!!
I could tell straight away that the suppliers involved were not only majorly talented but offered a supreme high quality style of work.
I just had to message them and tell them how incredible I thought their work was and thank them for sharing the images. The photos were by the lovely Sophia from Sophia Veres Photography and once I popped over a little message, I was pleased to find I quickly received a friendly, warm reply and I instantly fell in love with her homely approach. It’s clear to see just how much passion she has for her work along with the love for her fellow suppliers in the industry.
I knew I just HAD to feature this shoot on TWE blog, it is too beautiful not too and after looking through all of the supplier’s websites and social media pages we would be more than honoured to showcase their businesses to all of you lovely lot.
After all, here at TWE we love to bring you ONLY the best of the best!
Sophia and her close industry friend Amber from the Little Thatch Florist who offers an effortless and subtle style for your wedding day by using locally sourced foliage and complimenting flowers, together wanted to create a styled shoot with a difference and to be able to showcase all the top local creatives.
Sophia told us that she was obsessed with the greenhouse idea with it being so on trend and once they teamed up with the lovely Mel from Eliza Tootsweet who’s style is influenced by reworking and up cycling fabrics to create a beautiful style of dress, they soon learned about the sweet little greenhouse she owned and the plan of the shoot unfolded and slotted together perfectly.
From this, all of the remaining talented wedding suppliers grew and joined forces with Sophia and the shoot was ready to go. The wonderfully talented Carly from Another Little World created the subtle yet gorgeous makeup and Mery from Love Cakes & Sweet Treats created the stunning cake and styled the flowers alongside Amber in order to compliment one another’s work.
[Sophia:] "It was brilliant to work as a collaboration with so many creative local people. The main aim was to create a style witch was relaxed and stylish yet achievable - even on a lower budget."
I am positive that you will agree with me that they achieved just this, the images are truly stunning and perfect in every way. Not only are they alternative and unique they also capture the romance and personalised touch of how a wedding should be.
Thank you for sharing your work with us you lovely ladies!
